The Project

This project aims to identify ways for disabled learners to learn English more effectively. The project outline was submitted for funding in March 2008. Participants from several countries bring a wide range of experience and views. The idea for the project came when a Fulbright scholar contacted a participant from the EU Youth Project "Maximizing Inclusive Participation during University Experience" in February 2008.

Accessenglish.org was established with Fulbright funding; the site is being used for developing English language skills of students participating in EU project 'Towards Inclusive Universities '

MIUSA (Mobility International USA)has complementary materials and additional resources throught its National Clearinghouse on Disability and Exchange
