This project aims to identify ways for disabled learners to learn English more effectively. The project outline was submitted for funding in March 2008. Participants from several countries bring a wide range of experience and views. The idea for the project came when a Fulbright scholar contacted a participant from the EU Youth Project "Maximizing Inclusive Participation during University Experience" in February 2008.
Accessenglish.org was established with Fulbright funding; the site is being used for developing English language skills of students participating in EU project 'Towards Inclusive Universities ' MIUSA (Mobility International USA)has complementary materials and additional resources throught its National Clearinghouse on Disability and Exchange
